As technology keeps advancing, Motorola has revealed its latest lineup of Razr phones, set to launch in April 2025. These new foldable devices come packed with cutting-edge features, including enhanced AI capabilities through a preinstalled Perplexity Assistant. This smart tool boosts processing and multitasking, making the phones quicker and more efficient for users.
Motorola’s aiming to impress with three models: the standard Razr, Razr Plus, and Razr Ultra, each offering something unique.
The standard Razr runs on a MediaTek Dimensity 7400X processor with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Meanwhile, the Razr Plus and Ultra use the powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 8S Gen 3, with up to 12GB of RAM. Storage options jump to 256GB for the Plus and up to 1TB for the Ultra. Pricing for these models starts at $700 for the standard, with the Plus at $1,000 and the Ultra at $1,300.
All models sport vibrant OLED displays—6.9 inches for the standard and 7 inches for the Plus and Ultra. Refresh rates hit up to 120Hz on the standard and 165Hz on the others, ensuring smooth visuals. Additionally, the external display provides seamless access to notifications and customizable panels for quick interactions.
Battery life’s another highlight. The standard Razr has a 4500mAh battery, the Plus offers 4000mAh, and the Ultra leads with 4700mAh. Charging speeds vary too—30W wired for the standard, 45W for the Plus, and a fast 68W for the Ultra. Wireless charging’s available across all, with the Ultra hitting 30W compared to 15W on the others. These phones are built to last longer with efficient processors. The integration of AI tools like Perplexity Assistant also optimizes battery management through effective prompt engineering for tailored user experiences.
Camera setups impress as well. Each model has a 50MP main camera, but extras differ. The standard gets a 13MP ultrawide, the Plus a 50MP 2x zoom, and the Ultra a 50MP ultrawide. Front cameras range from 32MP on the standard and Plus to 50MP on the Ultra.
Design-wise, they’re foldable with plastic and leather-inspired finishes for a cool look.
On the software side, they run the latest Android versions and include Moto Secure for privacy. Smart Connect links them easily to other devices, while Moto Unplugged helps cut distractions.
With prices starting around $700 for the standard model, these Razr phones blend style, power, and smart AI to stand out in the tech world.
